The Kayla Shea
The Kayla Shea built in 2021 was the inspiration for what has evolved into the very popular Freedom 40 by East Coast Houseboats
The boat is 40’ LOA with a 13’9” beam. Built upon a pair of fiberglass
Pontoons, she features a one-bedroom, one-bath floor plan, a galley kitchen featuring plywood cabinetry, shaker style doors, quartz countertops with undermount sink.
Stainless steel appliances include a propane fired cook top, 33” full size refrigerator, and a convection microwave.
All fresh water supplied from onshore connection
She features a Renai propane fired on-demand water heater.
Shower stall completed in Wilsonart Wet wall, with glass shower doors.
Raritan Elegance marine toilet with smart flush, connected to 50 gal. black water tank.
Interion includes waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring, painted ship lap on all the walls, with a Meranti paneled ceiling. All installed over high R-values of closed cell spray foam.
The boat is wired for a 30-amp 110-volt service with smart plug shore power connection.
All products used on the exterior of the boat are of a composite nature, all chosen for their long-life cycles and minimal maintenance. Everlast composite siding in the color of flagstone. Windows are by VWD, in black, all with insulated glass.
All facia and trim material is PVC.
Bow, stern, and roof decking all completed using Duradek, with a 25 year life expectancy completed in driftwood color.
Roof deck railings are aluminum in black covering with stainless steel cable rail.
Boat comes fully furnished, including inflatable hot tub on roof
