1984 Heart-to-Heart La Baby lifelike sleeping newborn doll is about 21", has cloth body and soft vinyl head and limbs. Velcro-open pouch on chest contains heart-shaped battery pack (with new button batteries) that produces "heartbeat" when pressed. Made in Spain by Berjusa for Barval Toys. Included is a sturdy vintage Estrela wooden cradle, made in Brazil, 22" x 13" x 13"H, with homemade fleecy pad and original box. Also included are vintage baby items: easy-on side-snap undershirt, terrycloth sleep 'n play, drawstring-bottom knit gown, fuzzy sleep sack, five 2-piece newborn outfits, knit cap and booties, quilted cap, blanket, homemade quilt and comforter, and small stuffed animal toys. Doll and cradle are in excellent condition with minimal signs of use, and have been stored in a smoke-free home. (Identical doll alone, in more-used condition, has sold for $140 on ebay.)
