There’s more things I didn’t take photos of but those are the main things.
The total amount spent to build has been between 20-25k, I believe closer to 25. Prices of the items have since skyrocketed so I think my asking price is extremely fair, but I’m open to chat and I know 14 is still a lot for some people. Just be fair is all I ask.
This was a project and the main panel and side panels can be modularly switched out to accommodate different aircraft. I had started collecting parts to make near complete modular cockpits for the AH64 and F18 and there’s also a GA panel. The panels are help on with red quick release clasps.
Computer is more than to play any sim I’ve thrown at it in 4k with max settings with all screens. Theres a second GPU to handle any secondary screens such as touch panels. Theres a total of 8 monitor outputs and it can also handle USB monitors.
Everything is in new or close to new condition. One of the virpil grip bases has an extension stuck on it that I am afraid to remove at risk of breaking it, but with the moza setup I’d be surprised if you choose the virpil base instead of the Moza force feedback, but to each their own.
I put a lot of time and effort and money into the setup and I’d like it to go to a good home. I’m getting sickly and I’d very much like to find a good buyer for it. I actually wish I could hold onto it but some things are changing in my life and due to that I sadly need to let this go. It’s been a next level blast for me. Please feel free to ask questions and I’ll do my best to answer but I just ask to pitch reasonable offers please. The idea behind the build was to create a modular platform that would also allow for aircraft specific panels to be quick changed so instead of having several different cockpits for different aircraft, one can switch into a different aircraft within 10-15 minutes and have the controls be roughly where they’d be in the real thing.
If you’re truly interested we can video chat and I can show you the ins and outs. It’s quite extensive so the pics don’t do it justice. Please feel free to ask any questions. There’s no such thing as a dumb question and I’ll do my best to answer.
Like I said above my health is going downhill so you’ll need to bring help to load it and moving it without a pickup truck is definitely out of the question unless you want to take like 4 or more trips. Just about everything is on wheels and rolls but it’s in a basement so it would be necessary to bring it up the stairs. Some parts are quite heavy or cumbersome so it’s definitely not a one man job IMO. I can donate 2 or 3 ratchet straps to the move if need be. Most parts are made to be quick disconnect with a few exceptions. Anyhow if you’re interested I’m happy to show you what’s going on.
Side note: there’s a second next level racing cockpit frame if you want to take it, if not I’ll find a buyer elsewhere for that. There are also a bunch of AH64 panels and parts I had started collecting and building to create a complete AH64 cockpit that are separate from above. There circuit boards, lasered acrylic panels, toggle sw, circuit boards and so on and they’re included if you want. They are not in a plug-and-play state but if you’re handy and smart as many flight sim enthusiasts are it might be in your wheelhouse to put them all together. Everything is made to be mounted straight onto a plain plywood or MDF board so it can be quick changed. There are things like master warning korry switches, complete left panel, Leo bodnar USB boards.
