Must live within 30 minutes drive of Deposit, NY. Part time position, perfect for retirees. If you already have a full time day job this is not the position for you. Absolutely no illegal drug use.
MUST HAVE:

-Some general knowledge of pool maintenance and lawn mowing is a plus.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE (but not limited to):
-Welcome guests upon arrival.
-Drop off wood and pellets for each guest.
-Drain/refill hot tub between guests.
-Snow/ice removal: clear snow from pool greenhouse roof. Clear snow from steps, apply ice melt whenever needed.
-Landscaping: cut the 6 acre lawn weekly during the growing season with my zero turn mower.
-Maintenance of the mower.
-Pool maintenance: clean, add chemicals etc. to the summer pool and the year round indoor pool and hot tub approximately once or twice per week depending on season.
-BBQ: check propane tanks and refill when low. Clean grills between guests.
-Outdoor maintenance: check on and replace or bring to my attention worn or unsafe items such as: patio furniture, pool toys and floats, firepit area, BBQ equipment etc.
-Safety check and immediately repair (or hire tradesperson): pool alarms, pool gates, smoke detectors and any other safety concerns.
-Mini splits: clean filters every month or so.
-Bulbs: replace when necessary.
-Door locks: replace batteries when they run low. I get alerts on my phone which I will forward to you.
-Check outdoor property: between guests clean up any trash, return furniture to its place, remove toys and floats from pool and put away, make sure decks are porches are tidy.
-Interior: inspect interior for regular maintenance and wear and tear.
-Repair or hire tradesperson to fix anything that's been damaged.
-Guests: respond to guests if they need direct assistance (treat guests as if they're family.)
-Eyes and ears: let me know anything and everything that needs attention or seems amiss.
-Hire: assist me with meeting with and/or hiring tradespeople to work on the property.
-*Weekly check other properties in Sullivan County and assist there when needed.
This is a part time job up to full time during the warm season. The hours vary and quite often you can manage your own time. $25 per hour to start. Gas allowance and paid driving time given when traveling to Sullivan County properties.
This is a multi-home property rented out short term to one group at a time, usually for the weekend or a whole week. The satisfaction of my guests is my number one goal and I'm hoping to find the right person to assist me in making the property every guest's dream vacation. My two previous employees were amazing and we are still in touch. They will help with training.
