My rates are $15.00 per half hour/$25.00 per hour at my home studio in Johnson City NY .Learn in a relaxed and fun setting.No contracts.No pressure.I teach all ages .Play for fun or for a career.Every student treated with respect.Learn at your own pace.I can even help you get in a band.I am also a former music student at Ithaca College music school and SUNY Binghamton . (BS in music/business) with over 35 years teaching/performing.
What you can learn:
-Songs and how they work-(Chord progressions,riffs,runs,scales,format)
-Common and complex rhythm(strum) patterns
-I,IV,V Chord progressions and the corresponding blues scales
-Guitar soloing/improvisation
Advanced playing
-Dorian.mixolydian,harmonic minor,major/minor pentatonic scales/modes
and the common chord progressions that go with them.
