The best parts of my job are learning new things. I work with cats and dogs, as well has exotics. I have the opportunity to learn about and care for a variety of animals. The most important part of my job is learning about my patients as individuals. Much like humans, animals also have different needs and comforts. I love learning how to best care for my patients, and their familys, in order to individualize effective care. My job can be rough and emotional at times, but I show up everyday determined to make our patients have the best experience possible.
In my personal life I (or my family) have owned dogs, cats, a pot belly pig, guinea pigs, rats, a snake and a turtle. I have owned special needs pets, my dog Delilah had cluster seizures and required regular medication and monitoring amd documentation. My cocker spaniel, Samson, has an autoimmune disease.
You're pets will love me, I shih tzu not!
