Tracked buggy built on an old Craftsman rider frame. I never got the steering quite right. I tried belt tensioning for steering clutches, then double pulleys, now it has 2 (expensive) manual cable operated gokart / mini bike clutches mounted. Chain driven to rear and geared down aprox 12-1. Has a BUILT 212 Predator thats somewhere between 12-20 hp, never put on a dyno. Has 1 hour on it after breakin. Comet 40 series clone variable speed engine clutch to take the higher hp with 1" adaptor to fit the Predator 3/4" shaft. Tracks are new surplus that fit Toro Dingo, are aprox 48" long when mounted. All 4 sprockets were made in my shop, drive on the lugs inside the tracks. Has hydraulic disc brakes each side in rear. I kept track of everything that went into motor (picture of sheet included), and most of the designs that went into the project.
Prices are firm, I have a ton of money in it. $1500 as is, or $1000 minus the engine and engine clutch. Not selling motor separately. NO TRADES. Will include box of single and double pulleys, idlers, and tensioning parts.
Update 12/21/25: Working on it again. Reconfigured complete drive train. Steering clutches are now mounted on main driven shaft, where they can handle the torque to steer correctly. Almost completed. See updated steering clutch pack in 3rd from last picture.
