These heavy-duty metal plates were used with the iconic Mattel Thingmaker toy line, allowing children to create rubbery, colorful flowers, leaves, and butterflies. To use them, a liquid plastic called "Plastigoop" was poured into the mold cavities and then heated on a specialized electric heater—a process.
