We are seeking motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operators, Laborers, Pipe Layers and Truck Drivers to work on prevailing rate Heavy Highway and utility projects in Upstate New York. Current projects are located in Auburn, NY and Bath, NY.
Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and dozers to perform trenching, earthmoving, grading, and material handling.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, trenching, or moving debris using various construction equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and transportation activities for project documentation.
Experience - OSHA 10 Hour Certificate
• Operators need proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and dozers on pipe utility crew.
• Operators need U-Dig NY Excavator Course.
• Truck Drivers need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, and flatbed trucks.
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to safety standards.
