The American Civic Association is a non-profit services center for immigrants and refugees. We have been around since 1939 and over the past nearly 80 years, have helped out thousands of clients in the Upstate New York area.
Services we are providing:
 Immigration services
 Refugee resettlement
 ESL/GED classes
 Citizenship education
 Multicultural events
 Rent out conference/banquet halls for events
 Other services: Translations, interpretations, notarization, foreign pension assistance, DMV letters, etc.

How You Can Help:
 Volunteering
 Interning
 Becoming a board member
 Event planning and preparation
 Translation, interpretation and English instruction
 Grant writing
 Home set-up for new refugee arrivals
 IT technical support
 Marketing, social media, etc.
 Developing and managing ACA website
 Donations
 Monetary donations
 Material donations
The ACA is always looking for people who are interested in volunteering and/or interning. We are constantly looking for individuals who can be translators in various languages especially Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic and French among others.
You can also help us by renting out our conference/banquet halls for $250.
If you share any interest in any of the services we provide or would like to rent out a hall or become a volunteer/intern, please feel free to contact us.
